How to reach
the Holiday Homes
By car
You can reach the Holiday Homes "CHIANTI" by car through the Motorway
A1 Milan-Florence-Rome.
You can leave the Motorway at Arezzo exit and from here follow the road
to Civitella Valdichiana and Badia Agnano. Pulling into Badia Agnano you
can find M.D'Azeglio street where there is the road sign "Podere Le
Muricce".
Otherwise, coming from the North you must leave the Motorway at Valdarno
exit, then proceed in the direction of Montevarchi, Levane, Bucine, Capannole,
Badia Agnano.
Otherwise, coming from the South you must leave the Motorway at Valdichiana
exit, then follow the E78 main road for Siena, leaving it for Bucine, Ambra,
Capannole, Badia Agnano.
By train
The nearest train station is Bucine, in the Florence – Rome line. If your train does not stop in Bucine you should get off at Montevarchi or Arezzo stations. To reach Holiday Homes “CHIANTI FARMHOUSE” from the train station you need to book a taxi or rent a car prior to your arrival.
The train could be useful to tourists arrived by car too, for visiting the city centers of Arezzo, Florence or Rome. See Train Timetable.
By aeroplane
The nearest Airport (77 km) is Peretola "Amerigo Vespucci", in the north-west side of Florence. The Airport is very near to the Motorway exit Florence North/Florence Mare (A1 and A11). The Airport is very well connected to the city center ( 4 km approx.) that you may reach in 15 minutes approx. by taxi or in 20 minutes by bus Sita/Ataf "Vola in bus" line, connecting the Airport with Florence main train station S.Maria Novella.
In the Airport you will find many rent-a-cars such as AVIS, Hertz, Europcar.
Other airports: Pisa (approx. 170 km), Bologna (approx. 165 km), Forlì (approx. 170 km), Rimini (approx. 190 km), Rome Ciampino (approx. 230 km) and Rome Fiumicino (approx. 259 km), all of them disposing of rent-a-car services or shuttle buses to the train stations.
